hi,
I am having a hard time learning to use pcstitch. Does anyone know of or where to print information on how to use it?
The help on the program is confusing to me.
Thank you

Terrilyn,

I don't know about printing the helps but there is a tutorial that steps you through a small project. That gives the basics of how to use the product.

One good way to learn the software is just play with it - that is how learnt it.

It won't explode from what happens if I use this feature? and worst thing you can do is that you don't save the pattern you were working on.

Though admittedly I am still learning new things about the software and I have played with it for months and months.

I am new to pcstitch. I think it is not too hard to use. I am having one problem. When I make a patern and want to preview it I cannot see half of the symbols. When I print it the same thing, the lighter symbols are way too light. I have printed many times on other things and the printer and ink are fine. Like I said this problem is in the preview window even before I print.
Please help me.

It may be the symbols you are choosing. Some are small and don't show up as well. Try changing the symbols around and see what happens. If it works on Preview, it should work on Print.

I'd also try to increase the font size and bold it (I think I use bold 12 as my default size).

Works for me.

Thanks for the help so far. For now I will use a colored background with symbols. Now I have a new issue. I tried to figure it out myself but can't seem to find the answer. I printed out my pattern and everything is so small on an 8X10 paper. How can I change this pattern to print out on maybe four papers so it can be larger.

Actually I think it is coming all together. I am so excited about this. I think making the symbols bold was the key and I figured out how to resize my patern to fit several pages. I am so greatful for these forums.
Thank you,
