i have a pic of a black greyhound - so my pattern colors are mostly black - shades of grey - and white. originally there were 2 other colors - a pinkgrey and a greengrey. i replaced each of those with an existing grey shade. so now, for example i have a half circle and a diamond - both symbols representing the same shade of grey. how do i replace say the half circle with the diamond symbol? thanks

If you have 2 symbols for the same color, the software thinks they are two different colors.

All you have to do is, in the floss palette, drag the one with the symbol you want OVER the one you want to replace and select Replace (the other option being cancel).

That's all! You now have all of those in the one color using the same symbol.

If you do it backwards (drag the wrong symbol over the right symbol), just go to the symbol palette and change it.

Good Luck,

Diane

I've tried dragging the same colour symbols over each other. All of the symbols I drag over disappear from my design and are replaced with a blank square. Not good
