Hi all,
I'm new to the forum but an old hand at latchhook, which is what I use PCStitch for. I must say it is the best program for designing charts and I've used (and own) quite a few software releases. I'm a resident of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.
One thing I've noticed is the absence of any pallette libraries, user created or updated versions of current ones. I have created my own, based on latchhook acrylic and natural wools but I thought there might be others available that users have found useful.
I am working on a web-safe colour pallette for those who pick their colours by matching to the computer screen, like myself.
Let me know your thoughts and experiences.

PCStitch can be used for any "gridded" project. I have seen it used for latch hook rugs. The palettes aren't there because it's not as common a usage for the product. If you have some palettes, I'm sure we can find a way that they can be made available for others. Perhaps you can check with "MaxPaul" (a member here) who has developed the myriaCross series. One of the products is to provide just such additional palettes for PCStitch as well as a few other similar products. Or you could contact Mark and ask if he would be interested in including your palette in an upcoming update of PCStitch.

When I discovered the Floss Editor, I was very pleasantly stunned. It was almost the perfect tool I needed to create my own strand libraries.
One of its best features is the ability to import a picture and select the exact colour you want from it, or take an adjustable selection of the colour area in the graphic and get the average or most used or an alternate colour. This has allowed me to import the colour charts from MCG latchhook yarns and create my own floss pallette.
I do encourage anyone else to have a go at this, I believe it is an exceptional included product.

I do not believe that the palette you want is part of the standard palette. I suggest you check myriaCross.com. There are two products that may help. One is myriaCross Floss that allows you to find your own mappings and the other is similar but it has the actual palettes the plug into PCStitch. Neither product is free but not expensive and if you use this palette a lot, it may very well be worth the price.

Sorry for this late reply, I've been away from keyboard for quite a while.
I'll make my MCG.COL file available for free download when I resurrect an old website. Look here for further updates. I will also make available a COL file for websafe colours.
