I would like to try out the pcstitch. I have downloaded the demo version from the web site and installed it. Unfortunately when I open it, I selected the professional version first. Everything is fine until I try to create a new pattern, the application freeze and enter a non responding mode. I decided to switch to the regular version after I have restarted the application. Then I try to start the regular version of the application but I only get the splash screen of Pcstitch and it close. I'm using Windows vista.

Did anyone encountered a similar problem?

Thank you very much for your help.

I haven't seen this problem specifically, but you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

Hi Mark,

I've done that many times. I'll have to find another software unfortunately to be able to design my cross stitch.

Thank you,

Nathalie

Have you tried to reboot between the uninstall and the re-install? That might change something. I use Vista and have no problems with either Pro or Standard for 9.

You might also try to re-download the software. It may not have downloaded clean.
