I am trying to scan a graph (birth announcement) so that I can use PC Stitch to graph out the words. When I do the scan, the resulting image is blurry, especially the grid lines. Does anyone know if this is possible to do? And what am I doing wrong. I don't see anyplace to adjust the image before scanning.

Importing an image - any image, including graph lines will never be received exactly as you see it. Possibly using an "underlayment" might do better if your image is completely square but I don't use that feature so I con't know much about it.

Computers see images differently than we do. While we may see a solid black line with crisp lines, the computer sees somewhat blurred lines with variations of color instead of one.

You may have to manually make the letters, or make a custom font, or try the underlayment form.

Thanks Diane I have just come to the same conclusion. I will be graphing it out by hand. Sigh
