Hi - I have a large design (c.33000 stitches) consisting of a lot of backstitch over cross stitch.
I want to create a chart just for the backstitch, so need to remove the underlying cross stitch. However, they share colours so I can't just remove certain colours. I've used the eraser but it's tedious - is there any way to widen the area it clears? I can't use the select tool as it also removes backstitch.
I know I could use the Fill option to change all the individual blocks of colour to one that is not used for backstitch, then delete that colour, but that too seems long winded.
If not, perhaps that could be considered for a future update?

Thanks

I know of no way to easily do what you want to do other than to change the color of the backstitches to another color, remove the backer stitches and then change it back.

I suggest you put this suggestion in Mark's thread of desired features.

Good Luck,

Diane

Do you plan on printing the backstitch only chart? If you are, all you need to do is go to the Print/Preview screen of the original design and change the "Print Stitches As" to none. The only thing that will then print is the backstitching.
