I am using the exported jpg as an example, but it always seems to be so small... How do I get PC Stitch to export an image that has more pixels in it?? The ones I am exporting are under 2000 pixels across, I would like that to be more like 4000 pixels across.

I am using PC Stitch to do the design work, but I am not using it to calculate thread/floss usage.

Hope you can help! :)

The export to jpg portion of PCStitch is just an offshoot. It is not part of the main product of creating a pattern. I do not believe you can do anything with this portion. Remember to use the print feature of PCStitch to output the pattern itself. the Export of the jpg is more for an image of the design as if it were stitched. You can use something such as PrimoPDF to "print" the pattern into a PDF file for general distribution if desired.

Thank you for having the export feature!

I NEED the images (for further processing) of the whole pattern, with color boxes and letters/symbols over the squares. I can't do anything useful with a paper printout.

Does the stitches per inch have anything to do with how large (in pixels) the export file is?

The stitches/inch only affect the visual of the pattern creation and the estimate of material usage. The pattern itself is coded into the .pat format and how that relates to an export, I have no idea. Mark might be able to answer that. Just go to his profile to send him and email.
