When I upload a photo and want to pass it to a cross stitch chart, does not look good ...
Depart too strange colors and has good quality pattern :(
Can you give me tips to make the graph it is as similar to the picture ??

I have given these tips several times and it is, in my opinion, the best advice for converting images into patterns.
1: Keep your photo simple, especially the background. At worst, keep the number of colors for background use to a minimum.
2: Keep your number of colors to a reasonable number. Too many colors results in more "confetti" stitches and you're going to get them anyway - it's the nature of the product.
3: Keep your image TINY! Adjust your picture to the same pixels (or as close as you can) as the height/width of your pattern in stitches. Try for a 1 pixel to 1 stitch ratio for the best conversion.
4: Be prepared to tweak! NO conversion is going to be perfect. The computer sees color differently than you do so some colors are going to look strange. Some may convert to a totally different area of colors, such as magenta or yellow when you expect gray. Some of the problem is there are only a limited number of any one color in any one floss family.
Tweaking also involves removing confetti stitches with the most appropriate color IN YOUR OPINION for that area. Smoothing areas are also part of the tweaking by changing some colors to more fit the actual pattern.
A further part of tweaking is the addition of any specialty stitches. The base conversion is only of full cross stitches. If you wish back stitches, fractionals or anything else, you must enter them manually.
5: Keep the original photo readily available. Try to arrange that a "view" of your partially tweaked version and the original photo are side-by-side and use that to help you tweak some of the final touches.
Remember, the base conversion is science -- an algorithm of converting pixels to stitches. The final result is ART! You decide what needs to be changed and how to change it.

Backstitches have to be added manually. Imports of images to patterns only handles full cross-stitches. Any other stitches have to be added later as part of the "tweaking" phase.
