I am reworking an complex pattern and recently discovered Mirror Mode. I used it to rework an UNDERLAY photo after I had already worked on an imported photo that was "flipped". It worked really well after a little playing with it. When I no longer needed it I could not get the "mirror" function to turn off. It kept putting the line back in somewhere else. How do you turn it OFF, once you no longer need this function?
I don't use mirror mode that often so I had to load my copy to check. Then I had to update myself!
OK, all updated and tested. The answer is actually quite easy. Just change your stitch mode. Click on the "arrow" to select a region and then click the actual stitch you plan on using (such as "X"). As soon as you click on the arrow, the mirror mode terminates because you just entered "select mode" instead.
ok, that makes perfect sense. I'm not sure if I did that eventually and that got me out. I'll let you know if it is a problem in future. Thanks for the quick reply as I am working on the design today! Alison
