 New user...help with size of imported picture..

New user here....I imported a picture and specified what size I wanted it to be in inches, however when I printed pattern it was larger than size I indicated...am I missing something? Thanks for help!

You want the image to be the size of the stitches - For instance, if you have an 8 X 10 image and you want to do it in 14 count, then you want your image to be 112 X 140 PIXELS! Yes, that's tiny. The best imports are when you have 1 pixel to 1 stitch ratio or as close as possible!

So how do you adjust pixels...for example, picture I scanned in is 500x500 pixels... I want to have a 10(H)x 14(W) chart for 14 ct. cloth...how do i do this????Thanks, I am still confuse as you can tell!!

You need to use external software, such as Irfanview (free) or Microsoft Paint or any other graphics program to "resize" the image to the size you desire. The instructions vary from software to software.
