Posted - 06/12/2010 : 09:26:43 I have noticed a problem with this stitch font in PC Stitch Symbols 3, and thought I would post it here so that it could maybe be changed in a future update, and so that others are aware.
There are a few symbols in this particular font that are duplicated, so you can end up having two different colours with the same font symbol... it's almost caught me out a couple of times.
One is the one like a christmas tree ie three up arrows stacked on top, with a line down the middle (repeated twice) and the other is <-> (also repeated twice. If this could be fixed I'll be so grateful!
Thanks! Pippa |

Posted - 06/18/2010 : 18:46:11 I've used symbols from 4 or 5 different fonts in the same pattern and was able to save the pattern without any problems. |

Posted - 06/12/2010 : 13:17:11 Wow... it's been that long and they haven't fixed it yet? Hopefully they will soon! Thanks for your reply as always Diane :)
I did try mixing symbols from different fonts in a single pattern once before, but it wouldn't let me save the pattern. Different font symbols in the pattern was the only thing I'd done differently from before at least, so I can only think that it was due to that... :/ |

I believe there are at least 3 of those duplicates you mentioned. It was reported a couple of years ago and we're still waiting. Maybe they'll either remove the duplicate or put in a new symbol one of these days. Just be careful and watch for it. Remember that with Pro, you can mix symbols from different fonts in a single pattern so that gives you even more choices to play with.
Diane There is no such thing as a stupid question
