Posted - 02/14/2013 : 16:33:35 I have PCStitch Pro...version 9.01.011.
I have a pattern made & I want to make ANOTHER of the same pattern...but an exact mirrored copy of it.
I found 'MIRROR MODE' under tools & clicked on 'HORIZONTAL MIRROR MODE'...but nothing happened. Obviously there must be another step that or two that I have to do...but cannot find anything anywhere about it.
Is this 'MIRROR MODE' suppose to flip a pattern for you...or do I just need to go back & flip the picture itself...& then make ANOTHER pattern of it after it's flipped?
What do I do? |

Posted - 02/14/2013 : 20:50:49 Mirror mode is not designed to "adjust" an existing pattern. It is designed for BUILDING a pattern. When you define it, you define the "center line" and when you place a stitch, a "matching stitch" is made across center line as if it were a mirror.
To do what you wish to do, mark your pattern (select it all). Specify a copy. Then request a paste and you can tell it to do a "flip" either horizontally and/or vertically and then carefully place the copy beside the original to make a mirror. make sure you pattern area is large enough (width and length) to take the copy.
Good Luck,
