Posted - 12/03/2021 : 06:09:05 I am wondering if there was a way to make the patterns I design into PDF's to the app Pattern keeper? I love PC Stitch and do not want another cross stitch pattern maker!! Or what is the resolution of the export in PC Stitch?

Posted - 12/03/2021 : 07:52:27 The way to create PDFs with PCStitch is to PRINT to a virtual printer (PDFs). Most PDF readers have a virtual printer as part of the install so it can be selected from the print dialog (just select it from the drop-down menu of printers available). I personally use the one built into Foxit. There are also stand-alone products but I find these built-in ones faster and more convenient. Even Adobe has the ability.
Export to a jpg is inconvenient because it is just the image -- not the key!
Note -- one advantage of the .pat format is it is independent of zoom-blur! Any jpg or pdf can be zoomed into to make the pattern easier to use but the symbols will ALWAYS blur because you are just expanding a static image. PCStitch files are coded for the symbols independently of the visual image so when you zoom, it just chooses the appropriate size of the symbol - no blur!
