Posted - 06/26/2015 : 02:42:05 Hello,
I've had PC stitch 10 for a few months now with no problems. However last week I was trying to print a chart to a PDF file and it came up with the error that no printer is installed. I do have a printer installed and I'm able to use it with other programs. I've tried reinstalling the PDF program and PC stitch 10 and the same thing happens. I've not had this problem before. Can anyone help?
Thanks,

Posted - 06/26/2015 : 07:48:12 That sounds like a problem with the printer. The product can only talk to printers it knows about. I've seen cases where some products worth with a given printer and others don't. It's always been the printer at fault. Yes, PCStitch is one product involved as the "can't".
First of all, try a reboot. That often cleans up miscommunications.
If your PDF "printer" is PrimoPDF, you might want to try something else. I was having problems with it and since switched to the file-creation "printer" that is part of the adobe clone, Foxit, and it works much better.
Also, PrimoPDF has such an incredibly NASTY install that I would never recommend it again although I did at one time.
