Just finished creating my first pattern here - infinately more satisfying that the software I tried 7 or 8 years ago!

Anyway, I've got a suggestion - one I think would be a huge improvement, but then that's just me. I like everything in 1 nice neat package (in this case, the pattern ).

Why not include the Floss Usage (estimate) as part of the legend, rather than have it burried in Pallet Tools? It should be a simple matter to include that # in parens, like you can with thread count. Then it's always available.

Thankfully, someone else asked about that. For the life of me, I couldn't find the Floss Usage option, and while the help explained what that was, it didn't explain where it was.

On that note, however, the help and form suggests you can export the usage to a CSV. How? The only button I see in Floss Usage is Print, and Export only has Pattern and Legend.

Well, off to get supplies. I don't like simple patterns; the one I'm trying is 36" x 26" 241,344 stitches. I'll let you know how it comes out when I finish - sometime late 2010, probably.

Happy Stitching

I'll second that suggestion.
I didn't even know it was there. I recently had a question from a customer that I would have been able to answer properly, if I had known that it would be there.

I think that it should also be included in the print out.
Cheers

Jenvin,

The floss usage with all the information including the usage estimates can be printed. However, it is a separate print operation from the pattern.

I agree, there should be an option during print for the floss usage chart.
