Just to make things easier for our members, I am translating the previous message from French to English (using Google Translate):

hello j got a question because I am not gifted tresz voila d after a personal picture should resize the image to have a maximum size of 2 MB and 2000ko a lower resolution of 8000 aun square pixels and in fact I nor anyone happens if one could I advise her I would be very nice thank you in advance

Now for an answer (I think). To change the resolution of an image, the actual file size is not important. What is important is the pixel dimensions. You need to change the pixel size to approximately the size of your desired finish design so that 1 pixel = one stitch. I'm going to cheat here. I wrote instructions on how to do this using Microsoft Paint years ago for the EMS board. That tutorial was translated into French. I'm just going to give the links to the threads there to help out.

I hope this helps.
