I have never seen a program which does not allow you to close what you are looking at on the screen. There must be a way, but I cannot find a "close" option in any of the menus. When I am viewing patterns, they just have to pile on top of each other. Help!

Look in the upper right corner of each pattern. Just click the little red "X" to close it.
