Hi MT1967, I use the Pro version and am having fun with it. I had to play a little with it, but I have done some really great Patterns with it in the last couple of weeks. Everytime I use it, I learn a little more.
Go for the Pro version. It's a little more expensive, but it's worth it!!!
I've been using Pro since before it was released (I was one of the beta testers ).
I used PCStitch 7 (now called Standard) before that.
I think it's a great product with a very nice user interface. It's powerful and yet friendly. The newer versions (the versions you would get new now) work wonderfully under Vista as well.
I agree - it may cost a bit more but Pro is definitely superior to Standard.
