When I open libraries from previous versions into PCStitch Pro, I get a message saying they need to be updated. Why don't the reappear in PCStitch symbols? Some of them are coming up with Arial symbols, and I have to change each one individually to PCStitch symbols.
Also, can they be saved so that they remain updated in the libraries, rather than having to repeat the process every time the program is reopened?

Let's look at these issues one at a time. Are you saying that every time you open a specific library, it converts it to PCStitch Pro format, then if you close PCStitch Pro and start it again, then open the same library, it needs to convert it again?

Can you give me a specific example of what happens so that I can try to reproduce it here?

I just went through my libraries again, and I think there were some that I hadn't updated yet. So that seems to be OK. However, when I open a library pattern to edit it, the symbols all show up as Arial symbols. Only the pattern I have since added within PCStitch Pro have PCStitch symbols.

I can reproduce this here. It looks like a bug with opening version 6 library files. I will make sure it gets fixed in the next update.
