                      | Hello,
I am developping a program to convert stitch file formats between PCStitch/Pattern Maker/StitchCraft/Cross Stitch Pro and more.

It works fine but I found a few bugs.

In order to convert properly from/to PCStitch Pro, would someone send me a sample pattern file with objects containing back stitches
and french knots at pascal.souchet@yahoo.com ?

 Thanks in advance.

                      | If you intend to work with Pro format, you should have Pro yourself. Can't you make such a pattern yourself?

                      | I developped my own cross stitch editor for my wife, so, I do not need another one though PCStitch is great.
I am developping a software that will allow people working with PCStitch (either standard or pro) to import patterns from Pattern Maker, StitchCraft, and more.

With or without help, I shall find and correct my software but it would be quite longer without help.

Help would be appreciated, that was all I meant.

 Thanks

                      | MaxPaul,
I understand what you are saying now. I will be emailing you two simple files. They are simple cubes and use Auto-backstitch, regular backstitch and French Knots. I am sending the same file in two formats - Pro and Standard. As many people use PCStitch Standard (version 7) and it is still supported by M&R, you should be able to handle that format as well.

Look for my email later today.

                      | I am interested in converting StitchCraft charts (Crafted Software) to PCStitch patterns.

I am also interested in converting PCStitch patterns to StitchCraft charts.

Would someone that uses StitchCraft send me sample charts that contain horizontal, vertical and quarter stitches and french knots?

Thanks a lot for your help.

                      | To let everybody know - this project has progressed to the point that the product is now available for general release. It's a great tool!
For more information on what it can do and how to get it for yourself - check out my post on the EMS Cross Stitch Board at: http://www.cross-stitch-board.com/forum/showthread.php?t=34245
