After adding pattern to library, is it supposed to fit on one page? I usually wind up with 3 -4 pages.

Lucy,
The Library is normally intended to be for small re-usable pieces of patterns, rather than entire patterns. Those are just saved as patterns and not as a library. The library pieces are normally quite small where the patterns can be many pages.

OK, thanks. Next question (lol). I posted second attempts at same two images to Webshot Craft album. Haven't looked into pixels yet, but now have several pages for pattern "A Toast to Isaac Newton. Also, the second page to pattern "Gertrude Perry" is blank? Anyhow, being new to cross-stitch, do I print these patterns and cut and tape to begin work? Oh--would these be passable for cross-stitching? Eeeee, embarassing. Lucy

Most patterns are multiple pages. Most stitchers can handle that. With Pro, there is a shaded overlap to help you keep the joints straight. With Standard (7), there is no overlap.
The center row and column are marked and you can mark your pattern (contrasting or highlighting - manually) to help you out. You can stitch from the multiple page pattern because you have the row & column markers and the 10 X 10 grid to keep it lined up.
I would not worry about that.
A blank page should not print. If it is a blank gridded page then maybe you have to much "excess" beyong your actual stitches and you can remove some rows/columns to eliminate that. You don't have to have ALL the rows/columns you expect for the final design, just enough that all the stitches are shown. I normally have 1 or 2 rows and columns around my design just so my pattern doesn't butt up agains the edges of the printed pattern.
