Hi there!
I was wondering if improvements where going on?
As a graphist, I would suggest some improvement ideas.
if this isn't the case, I would regret my buying a bit.

I'm currently on this illustration to cross stitch. illustration like these amazing tableaus on printed canevas, I wish this quality level.

many tools could be greatly useful to work on that better:

Layers: I could work on each subject without having to damage others, like I'd do in CG softs:

simple, transparent/non stitched points let appear the background. just add remove and rearrange features. I know this could be sone with Symbols, but they don't allow to wark in the scale and environement of the global painting.

"brush":
It would be great to be able to spread multiple crosses at once, like a "brush". it could increse in diameter via different algorithms. square, star or circle.

overlay:
underlay is nice, but it doesn't allow to make modifications on full patterns. Overlaying a picture would then be really great, jus with an opacity parameter.
here is 50% opacity for iinstance:

these are more basic of basics, but it would increase a lot work comfort for those who wants to draw a full canevas "painting"
Thanks for reading and have a good day!

I don't know if PCStitch 11 is in development or not. I would hope something is in the works with the thread Mark started on suggested improvements.

That is where this belongs -- Don't repeat it but maybe make a note over there with a pointer here because of the LARGE images. Note -- those images should be reduced as they cause a lot of sideways scrolling to be required to even read the post.

sorry, I haven't the same notion of LARGE pictures (which is around 4800px wide) changing that!

Thank you -- That is much better. I, like many older people are forced to use higher DPI settings (large fonts) to be able to see menus and that can cause some images to be larger than life. I know I'm not alone in this.
