Hi =, I am having an issue with my palette. My beads show they have a certain symbol to use however they show on the chart as ovals only. I am using windows 10 (downloaded windows 8 version) program runs great I just can't figure this out. I am sure I am missing a simple step.

Thank you

jenn

Check what kind of "display" you're using. Make sure you are using one of the types that show symbols.

That's all I can say -- PCStitch 8 is 2 levels behind the latest level.

Good Luck,

Diane

Sorry I should have been more clear. I am using PC Stitch 10 - on a windows 10 computer. Since there is no Windows 10 download I downloaded the windows 8 version.

when I choose to show only symbols - both of my bead colors are shown as 0, not as the symbols that I have chosen for each bead. so there is no way to tell which bead go where when you print the chart as symbols only.

Thank you for the clarification. I hadn't realized myself the confusion over the PCStitch levels and Windows levels.

I would try to change the symbols and see if that has an effect, try one of the other display options that includes symbols (maybe color and symbols) or even try to change the color of the symbol (possible with the latest version).

If all that fails, contact Mark. Look for his profile here on this board and use the email option. Give him all the information you can including everything you have tried.

Good Luck,

Diane
