I'm selecting an area and changing to a colour that I've added to my palette, but the symbol doesn't change when I pick that colour. Is there some way to change the symbol in the selected area only?

Think I might have just worked around this problem. If I "remove" the new colour that it just created in the selected area then "undo" the colour comes back with the new symbol.

Kathleen,

I'm glad you figured out what to do. That's something I've not seen before myself. I've never seen a color change fail to correct the symbol as well.

Note -- I'm in the US so my spelling of "color" is different -- both acceptable.
