I'm recharting a pattern that is in all white floss (was stitched on black aida) into colors. I've picked 5 cotton colors and 3 effects colors. Is the only way to build a custom color list, is to start with the cotton list and delete every color you don't want, one at a time? This will take forever. It seems like there should be a way to start with a blank list, and add the colors you want.

I've tried creating a palette, and it did nothing. I added colors, gave a name, and tried to load it, and I can't find a place where just those colors are there for me to choose from just those colors. The HELP topics I have found are not clear on what to do.

So you have to have the Floss Palette menu bar showing in order to see the colors you are adding to it, in order to then save it and then use it.

I've never NOT had the Floss Palette visible. That's what you use to select colors for stitches. It's hard to use the product without that being readily available. It is by default.

Turns out it was down along the bottom and I didn't see it because the available color menu was covering the icons. I was only choosing 8 colors so that menu box was wide enough to cover them up. I just got this for Christmas and am learning my way around it. I resized and moved the palette box up to the top where I can see it better. :)
