Hi all,

I haven't stiched in years due to severe damage to my hands from RA. Therefore, I haven't been on pc stitch in years either. So I have forgotten some basics.

I am trying to set up some text for a friend for a pattern she is stitching..in the process, I hit a key, and now have a number of the squares on the graph filled with x's.

I feel very stupid, and have tried a number of things to no
avail...how do I remove these little x's?
