In going through the Making Your First Pattern tutorial, Step 3 says to "Scroll the design grid so that you can see the right edge of the pattern. Now, right click the bell pattern in the Library panel, and you will see a menu appear on the screen. Choose Apply from this menu, and a new copy of the bell object will be placed at the upper left corner of the visible design grid."

When I right click on the bell pattern, I only have 3 choices: 'Edit', 'Remove', or 'Close Pop Up'. I did scroll over and also made sure the current bell design was not selected in the open pattern. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

I don't know what is wrong. A right click shows "Apply" ABOVE the other options. The options are in 3 sections: Apply, Edit & Remove, and then Close Pop-Up.

Maybe you have it at an odd place so that the top of the pop-up isn't viewable.

You know, maybe that was it. Or maybe it just needed a kick start- after a drag-and-drop today the apply option was there.

Thank you for the timely answer! Everyone on this forum is awesome.
