When I import an image, it shows up in the 'Import Wizard' where
I can work on the background and other issues.
I have to go out of the wizard before finishing my work but I can't figure out how to get back there to finish.
Help would be appreciated.

Once you leave the wizard, you are at the "tweaking stage" and there is no way to get back into the wizard except to start over.
