Anyone know how to enlarge the little boxes that tell what column and row you have put the cursor on. (ie, status bar at the bottom, far right side). The last digit isn't visible (ie, I can read 99, but 100 shows up at 10.... can't read last number of the row or column I'm trying to work with.

Do you, my any chance, have "Large Fonts" or "High DPI" set (such as 150%)? That does cause problems like this and I do not know how to fix that. You might send a message to Mark and ask him.

WOW Diane, - that's AMAZING and it worked. I had medium size fonts selected - so a trip to Control Panel/Fonts/Change Font Size/Smaller (from Medium) did the trick. Thanks so very much. I NEVER would have guessed that was the problem!!!!!

Lona,

I knew about a problem with that area way back with version 8 during testing while I was on a computer running ME. The main issue was fixed (many of the icons weren't showing properly) but the entire idea is still valid. I'm on the 2nd computer since then and running Windows 7. The monitor is so big (and wide screen) and the connection is such that the resolution that works best makes for tiny text! I've got my current machine set to 150%.

That causes issues with many things. My Kindle for PC has that problem of the number running out the edge. Many of my games have to be run with a special properties tag (under Compatibility) to tell it to ignore scaling with high DPI.

So, it's not amazing -- it's just that I have run into the problem head on over the years having bad eyes. It's experience.
