1) When you type in something, you MUST use left alignment or it will only allow 1 letter per line.
2) Can it be changed to allow you to "nudge" the curser with the arrow keys like you can with Standard?
3) YOU CANNOT EDIT THE TEXT!!!!!!! Once you finish, if you notice at a later time you made an error or you want to change something, you CAN'T. This is not fun to deal with.

Hello Anna,
I am Jennifer with PCStitch. Let me try and help out with this one.
1)Could you let me know the size of pattern you are using, and also which Text and you are using when this is happening?
2)I will make a suggestion to Troy and Mark about this, as I am sure they will see this on here as well.
3)You can edit the Text, by drawing an edit box around the letter you would like to erase and then simply hit the delete button on your keyboard. Before you can erase any letters you must first merge your text to the background. You can do this by clicking on the Text for a Box to appear around it (Looks like an Edit box) and then right click within this box and select Merge to Background.
I do hope this helps, Thanks :-) |

Jennifer, Thanks for hte response. 1) I use the small backstitch and it happens with ANY size pattern. I have to type what I want and then change the allignment.
2) Ok
3) If you do this, can you delete AND add? The error I had was I misspelled a word and had to redo the entire saying to get it lined back up right. My fingers sometimes get ahead of my brain.
I will try the merging and let you know if I am aable to do what I need.
Cheryl, I don't get an error message, I just can't do it |
