Hi. I'm using PC Stitch pro version 09.01.09.

I made a pattern from a picture I imported into the program. There is a color I would like to add to the pattern that is not in it.

I don't want to replace a color with it...I want to ADD it to the list of colors in that pattern at the bottom of the window where the floss palette for ***ONLY*** that pattern is located... so that I can change some of the stitches to that color...but I can't figure out how to do that.

Does anyone here know how to do that

Thank you in advance for any help.

Simply open the available color panel, select a color and then add it to the list. Then open the symbol panel and change the "default" symbol to the one you wish to use.

To change just SOME of one color to this new color, mark a section of your pattern that contains the stitches you wish to change but not those of that color you do not wish to change and you can drag one color over the other (I can never remember which order to drag - new over old or old over new) and select to replace in the selected area, not the entire pattern.

You can also manually change the stitches as well by just selecting your new color and clicking on each stitch you wish to change.
