As a designer, I love to use hand-dyed flosses like those from Gentle Arts. However, my PCStitch Pro doesn't list all of the floss colors they currently have available. I've updated my PCStitch Pro but apparently you don't have all floss colors available yet. Will they be added soon? I'd love to be able to print out my charts (which I sell) with the correct floss colors listed for them. Thank you!

There is a Floss Editor where you can create your own as well. Also, you might check with the myriaCross products. There is a product there that adds hundreds of floss palettes to PCStitch (and others with the right product) for immediate use.

Hi Dragonlair, I too am trying to design in GAST. Would you please walk us through the Floss Editor or at least point me in the right direction? I'd be ever so grateful as I am in the middle of a project and it's now getting quite confused with floss that needs to be renamed. -Cheers Seren

I've never actually used the floss editor myself. With PCStitch 10, it is part of the main program rather than a separate program so integration of your work should be much easier.

In the same shortcut folder as your PCStitch, there should be a shortcut for the Floss Editor. From there you just define the colors you want and save them. I believe you can start with a known palette.

Sorry for the delay; life intervened. I really appreciate the good information, Diane! Thank you! I'll get busy on adding them in so my printed patterns will list the correct flosses by name. Thanks again!
