Are you referring to the True Type fonts as may be used in the instructions and notes? among the options for the text features is one with an icon of a large capital "A" followed by a down-arrow (drop-down menu indicator). That arrow gives you a selection of colors to use.
If you're referring to stitched fonts, if the font does not have a pre-selected color, you can set your "active" color and it may work. If it is pre-selected, then you may have to merge it into the background, select the area and do a change color operation.
Diane, I just figured out how to change the color of my True Type Font. I just realized you have to change the color while it is in the box for typing not after you have merged it into the pattern. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I probably will have plenty more.
