I wish there was some way to have an autosave feature where the program would automatically save every X minutes and where the user could set that number of minutes. It would be even better if you could decide whether you want this feature turned on or off.

I think Standard has something like this (even if it isn't noted). In Standard, if your PC crashes and closes PCStitch abnormally, you get a notice when it comes up again that you had something there and do you want to continue. You never got all your work back and sometimes you didn't get any back but you usually got some back.

Mark promised to put that feature back into Pro but I don't know how much work is involved.

An autosave is along the same line and you would preserve much of your work. If it is a large pattern, the delay for the saves may become irritating so you are correct is having one that has an option to turn off.

Be careful there, though. I remember a story over 20 years ago. A friend was using one of the early full-screen editors and spent several hours entering a program. Because of the delays when you auto-save, she did not have "Recover" turned on. We had a power failure and she lost ALL her work. A delay is better than losing your work.
