Is there a way to export the color chart to an outside file. I can export a grid picture to a .jpg file and then to a PDF file. When you look in the preview and click on the last page, there is a color chart there, but no way to export this.

You can print - just the symbol chart to a "virtual printer" like Primo PDF to make it a separate file.

Joan,

You need to install "PrimoPDF" as a totally separate product - it's free. You can download it from: http://www.primopdf.com/index.aspx

Once it's installed, you can set it as your "printer" when using any print function from any program on your computer. Just use the drop-down menu of "printers" and select it.

Sorry for any delays in responding. I was waiting for Jim Nabors to sing "Back Home Again in Indiana" at the Indy 500 pre-race ceremonies.

Yes! I had that my computer. I went to FILE in my PCS program - then PRINT - then PRINTER SETUP. I selected the NITRO PDF CREATOR (reader) and then clicked on PRINT. It took a minute. I then went to my Nitro PDF Creator icon on my desktop, and clicked on that. I mailed the PDF file to myself. Once I got it, I zoomed the picture to 200% and got a great picture, with the thread colors and names. I think I'm set.

I'll add some notes on the pages now from the Nitro PDF page. That should do it.
