Someone once said there is no such thing as a stupid question, which is fantastic, since I usually have about a gazillion when I have something new! LOL I have completed the stitching part of a wedding sampler I stitched for my darling daughter. I wanted to add some text (names, date, etc) at the bottom, so I turned to my PCStitch Pro! However, I ran into a problem after I had created the pattern I wanted. When it came to printing, it would only print on a XPS printer. Now, I'm trying to figure out if my HP printer can do that but I'm hoping someone here on the board can help me. Is there anyway else to print these patterns out?
Please, if you have an idea or suggestion email me!! I want to get this to the framers so it will be completely framed and ready for Christmas.
Thanks so much everyone!

The printers available are based on what the software finds on your computer. Your default must be XPS (I have no idea what that is). There should be a "down arrow" beside the printer name in the print window. That is a drop-down menu from which you can select the printers that are available on your computer. That should include your HP.
BTW - I'm the one who has the "slogan" about the stupid question (see my siggy). It's what my father told me from the time I was knee-high to a grasshopper!
I'm also editing your post. For security and identity reasons, we discourage posting of email addresses. If someone wanted to send you an email, they can use the board's processor which does not reveal your address to them.
Good Luck!

My dad and grandfather both told me the same thing too! Plus a few really really good teachers along the way. I don't have an XPS printer (at least I don't think so), but for some strange reason the program couldn't find my HP C4580. Could the reason be because my printer is also a wireless printer? I read somewhere that XPS cant print on wireless printers!

For some strange reason, my post took my signature, but not my message, lol
