I have been using PCStitch for years, but am back to basics after an enforced 2 year break from charting (computer died and hubby refused to install craft stuff on his computer !!) I now wish to chart a sampler in my posession, however sections of the design call to be stitched 'over 1' - this is relating to evenweave or linen - not aida.
I have forgotten how to set the format of charting to 'over 1' rather than the default 'over 2'
Is it possible to do this a) at all b) within sections already charted in default settings.
ie: I have birds stitched 'over 1' that are sitting on branches stitched 'over 2' I have a lot of lettering that is stitched 'over 1' nestled within sections of 'over 2'
I really do not wish to resort to pencil and graph paper. Any advice?
A chart is a chart - it's how you interpret the chart. You can use the "petite" stitch to mark "over one" sections in an "over-two" chart but otherwise, those parts are normally left blank and a separate chart contains those parts of the design.
