Is there any way to edit a font that I designed to add the ability for multiple color use? In other words, when I originally designed the font I just had it using black, but I want to give more options now. Thanks, Iris

Thanks, I'd already tried your suggestion - doesn't work.
I realized after I'd already created several fonts that you have to do the color thing in the beginning - before you start. Then you can use whatever color you had saved with the font. If you don't do it at the start, your created/saved font will be black. Thought you might have some magic trick to add colors after the font was created.

You can edit any font you create but since I have never done it, I have no idea how to add the functionality of other colors that you wish.
If the fonts, as I believe, behave as "objects" that you cannot touch as such, you can "merge" them to the background to be simply stitches with no structure and then you can block off a section of the lettering and use the "replace" option to change the color.
