This time I'm trying to open patterns with Pattern Viewer and am getting an error message that reads:
MyDocuments/MyCrossStitchPatterns/Timmy.PAT is not a valid Win32 application

How do I fix this? Please help. I'm getting more frustrated with this silly computer every time I try to do something that should be really straightforward.

Hi Diane. I tried your suggestions but I'm still having trouble. Now I get an error message that says Error Code 1. I've deinstalled Pattern Viewer and downloaded and reinstalled it again this morning.
Would this be a good excuse to get a new computer? Just kidding!!

Eva,

Do you have any form of PCStitch (not PatternViewer)? If no, try downloading either and install to see if they will load this image.

I suggest you try the following:
  • Download Timmy.pat again

  • Re-install PatternViewer (if you still have the downloaded install program

  • re-download and re-install PatternViewer

  • email Mark if nothing else works

Diane
There is no such thing as a stupid question
