You ask questions just as you did here! You decide what forum is the best for the question that you have and start a thread with that question. By the same token, you post responses to questions or comments by other users as needed. Feel free to enjoy! There are even some off-topic areas for other discussions (unfortunately, we're not that active and they aren't used that much).
As for profile signature -- look at the bottom of my post. I don't sign my name every time, that is added automatically when I post. It makes it easy!
