I read someplace in the help files that you can install any TT file on your PC into PCstitch7. I have tried. But, when the select box comes up, in the line that says what ext it will accept, it says "PCstitch font file" How can I install a tt font in to the program. I do have the 2 add-on font collections installed.

I edited your post to show what your "signature" should look like if I'm interpreting your html codes right. I just used the codes for color (violet) and bolding.

You still show html code for your signature. You might try to "preview your posts" to see it before hand and maybe you can remove it.

To "install" a font in windows, you need to copy the files to the WINDOWS FONT folder. There used to be a limit of ALL folders of 512 files (including the two special pointers) which limits it to 510 actual files. I believe newer windows operating systems no longer have that limit but still, more than that gets a bit cumbersome.

Okay... I know how to click the TT box and use a TT font.
What I am trying to do, is install a font on the PC, so I can use it.
I downloaded one directly to my fonts folder. I got that one to work.
But, I have numerous ones saved in a folder that are zip files. Some of them have 2 files, the actual font and a help file which also shows the font. It says that you just have to copy it to your font folder in windows, which I have tried to do. I have tried several and they won't copy to the font file. There used to be a limit of having 500 fonts installed, so I took some off that I had, but it still won't copy. I have had this PC for about 3 years. Most of the files I have saved, but not installed, but they were installed on my old PC. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong.

Rose - you cannot use HTML on this board. Please convert to bbcode. You can use preview to see if you got the effect right.

To use True Type Fonts in a design, simply select "True Type" on the text toolbar rather than Stitched fonts and they are available!

It's the same for all levels of PCStitch as far as I know.
