I just bought PCStitch and have never worked with this type of software before. I want to be able to scan a cross stitch pattern that I already have and change the color range on some of the items in the pattern. Is there a way to go in and tell it to change "red range" to "pink range"? An example would be to take a flower in the pattern and change it from reds to pinks.
Thx for any help you may be able to give me.

Peggy,

First, to be able to process ANY pattern, it must be in PCStitch format. You can import a photo, use something like myriaCross to convert from one format to another, or manually convert your pattern to PCStitch format.

Second, you can't blankly say "Change Reds to Blues" or anything similar. What you can do is replace all of one color with a different color. Change all the colors you want one color at a time. It's still faster you you much choose the colors yourself.
