I have just downloaded both the Standard and Pro versions (7 & 9) and am having trouble even following the tutorials. In Pro, it says the bell is too large for the grid and when I maximize it, it only shows a small part of the towel with nowhere to put the other bell and quits the tutorial which I can't then open again. I have an old 1994 version of PC Stitch which I just put on my new computer and I can't even open it now with the 2 others on. When I could open it, it didn't give me the import option to use. I just wanted to do a pink ribbon for a young friend who is going through chemotherapy.

You can have 7 and 9 both installed and they work well side by side. I do! However, they must be in their own folders.

Thank you. My older version seems to have been deleted, so I deleted the icon on my web site. I asked for registration of the Standard version this morning, but have not heard back yet as to how to do that. I uninstalled Pro9.

If the item is too large for the grid, maximizing is not what is needed. What you need to do is using the pattern options, increase the number of stitches for the width and height.

Depending on what operating system you are using, the old software may no longer be supported. The current 7 and 9 are supported through Vista.

You might need to re-install them. Make sure you do not put 7 and 9 in the same folder. I would uninstall the older version that won't open. It may be confusing the issue.
