I am trying to print a pattern that has half stitches. In print preview it shows the symbol with a line through it for the half stitches, but when it prints it just uses the same symbol as for a full stitch. Am I missing a setting somewhere? I tried it in both PC Stitch and the pattern viewer.

I just installed PCStitch on my Linux box using Wine and it printed just fine, so I guess the problem lies in Windows 2000 somewhere. Thanks for your help.--And by the way It appears to work great in Wine! (I use Ubuntu)

Thank you, I tried that but it didn't help. I'm running Win2000 and have a Brother HL-5250dn running over the network--so there's no telling where the problem might lie. Anyway, I exported the print preview image and then printed the BMP and that worked.

Thanks again,
Crystal

This could be a problem with your printer driver. The first thing I would suggest is going to the printer manufacturer's web site and downloading the latest version of the driver for your operating system.
