I'm trying to do a pattern. and I have some half stitches that are the same color as full stitches BUT the symbols are different.
so when I go to use the whole stitch font, it changes the half stitch to the same font? for example: 310 black has a square for a full stitch. BUT 310 black is needed for a half stitch. How can I keep my half stitches from changing to full stitches?

I think what is the determining factor is what stitched you have selected to use. Make sure you select the half-cross instead of the full and you should be OK.
