Posted - 05/15/2006 : 09:26:06 I asked about this situation earlier and I wondered if we would get it back.
With version 7, if something happened and PCStitch closed abnormally (system crash), you got a message when it came back up that something was in use and did you want it back. If you said yes, it loaded the file you had running and tried to do the changes you made to it. Sometimes you didn't get anything and you never got back all your changes (since your last save) but you often got part of your work done. When you updated, it would load the file again when it came back up after the upgrade.
In Pro, we get neither situation. On an upgrade, it shuts down and then comes backup but does not load the active file again. If there is a crash, you lose everything and when you open it again, it seems totally unaware that it had crashed.
Will we get the version 7's actions back - reload on upgrade and (at least partial) restore on opening after a crash?
