Posted - 04/01/2007 : 07:05:21 This is not a problem as such, but an annoyance.
Every time I either open pattern (new or old) or add rows/columns Pro minimizes itself to the task bar as it was clicked down and not an used program as it is. (I don't know how to expain it better. )
Of course it's easy to fix just by clicking it up from the taskbar, but if you do it few times in fifteen minutes it gets a tiny bit annoying.

Posted - 04/04/2007 : 01:14:58 From what I can say today Diane was right in something... She suggested that Pro is just having April Fool's for me. As Pro seems to work like a charm today. Though I really can't say 100% yet as I haven't really used Pro since 1st, but I tried with couple of designs and an empty grid and... no problems.
So, for future reference: Pro has sense of humour.

Posted - 04/01/2007 : 12:15:13 I'm sorry. It just will not do that for me. It stays up just as you would expect.
I try it with an existing file and a new file. I have NO idea what is going on here. I'm going to have to pass the buck to Mark.
This is one of the strangest ones I've heard of yet.

Posted - 04/01/2007 : 11:25:09 Diane, basically I just need to, for example, open a grid, decide that I'd actually like it a bit bigger and add few rows. After I hit Ok Pro adds those rows, but goes down to taskbar.
With Ellen's design (Christkind, in case you are interested) I just opened it and tried to add one row to it. Same result, Pro adds it, but goes down to taskbar.
Same thing with removing rows/ columns.
And XP stands for eXtremely Problematic.

Posted - 04/01/2007 : 10:48:53 Could you give a step by step example of how you get it to occur?
I'm trying to duplicate your problem and I can't get it to fail!
I caught your word "highlight" so I turned that on so see if it made any difference (no). I also tried it windowed and maxed with no difference.
If you think XP qualifies as strange setting, try using ME! I've been told that the letters don't stand for "Millennium Edition", they stand for Mostly Errors.

Posted - 04/01/2007 : 09:16:37 Diane, if it was strange setting I think I would have noticed that earlier (as I haven't changed any settings in ages (and no one else has changed them unless my cats have learnt how to use a computer )) - though, I am running on XP so that may be interpret as a strange setting.
I noticed while designing that I have no problem with that if I have some part of the design active (highlighted).
And, this happens also with designs of others (I tested with one of Ellen's designs) unless part of them is active.

Posted - 04/01/2007 : 07:51:05 It doesn't do that for me.
I was checking out several patterns (freebies) and was in and out of several with no problem.
Are you sure you don't have some strange setting in your OS?
