Is anyone interested in the custom Hardanger lace stitches I made? I made them back in 2004, but still use them to design with.

I used them most recently to design a Hardanger doily for a fiber arts class at the University of Houston - Clear Lake. The finished doily took around 60 hours to complete.

You can see the PCStitch pattern for it on this page:

http://www.fignations.com/galleries/crafts/galleries.html

The second image on the page is the sketch I did in Paint Shop Pro, the next one is the design in PCStitch, and the next three are the doily in progress and completed.

The stocking in the next three images is the project I originally created the stitches for.

If anyone's interested in the Hardanger stitches, I'll make them available on my site.

I've been working on stitches for symbol crochet, but without being able to build in layers, create ellipses, anchor backstitches anywhere in the square, or rotate stitches at less than 90 degrees, that is not going to be easy.

Hey I really like that wedding picture, how would I cross stitch that? And how would I change the names? Could you please email it to me?

I would also love to have the stitches available. Are there any tips you can provide to those of us just starting on creating custom stitch diagrams?

Thanks.
