My new release announces petite stitches are now available. I do a lot of dog portraits from photos and would like to use this feature for the eyes and noses. Where is this feature described?

I was surprized to note that there is no mention of petite stitches in the helps. I clicked on index within help and petite got no hits.

However, I did a little playing. If you click on the stitch type of "smart petite", you can make them. If you have symbols with color set you make 4 stitches within any one block. If you set the stitch type to "virtual stitches", you do see 4 little cross-stitches.

I would say from that is you use them just like "regular" cross-stitches except that you can make 4 where you would make one regular stitch. There are no forms of petite fractionals and for that, I'm glad. I hate to think of making quarer stitches THAT small!!

Have fun!

Diane
