I downloaded and upgraded to 8.01.03 (thanks, Troy). It did fix the two problems I have been watching. Both are very much appreciated!

I have a question on the time it takes to do this operation. I am on broadband. I can normally download files up to 10 mb or so in just a few seconds. This takes forever.

I watched a clock carefully to get as close an idea as I could to the actual download time. The download itself was reported at 3.8 Mb. It took 4 minutes, 13 seconds to download. It took 1 minute 35 seconds to shut down PCStitch, install the upgrade and re-load PCStitch.

My machine is a 5 year old machine and is only 800 Mhz and only 128 Mb RAM. Why did it take about 3 times longer to download than to complete the process?

The downloads are faster than they were right after it was released. It used to take 15 minutes on broadband for a slightly smaller file.

Can anybody explain why or, better yet, correct this situation?

Diane
There is no such thing as a stupid question
